B-100 Caps provide a full complement of B-Vitamins plus Choline and Inositol. These vitamins work to support energy production, maintain healthy homocysteine metabolism, and promote the health of the nervous system.* B-Vitamins are water soluble, and with the exception of B-12, have limited storage in the body and thus require daily replenishment. While B-12 is stored in the liver, dietary sources are of animal origin only (meat and dairy) and supplementation with B-12 may be especially important for vegetarians.
From the FDA’s website: “As part of a well-balanced diet that is low in saturated fat and cholesterol, Vitamin B-12 may reduce the risk of vascular disease. FDA evaluated the above claim and found that, while it is known that diets low in saturated fat and cholesterol reduce the risk of heart disease and other vascular diseases, the evidence in support of the above claim is inconclusive.”
When life is challenging, the adrenal glands have to work harder to help the body meet increased metabolic demands and support the fight or flight response. This process can also deplete essential nutrients necessary to maintain optimal adrenal function and antioxidant status. B-50 is a targeted combination of Vitamins B6, B12, Pantothenic Acid, Folic Acid and Vitamin C at levels necessary to replenish and maintain optimal B Vitamin and antioxidant status during these challenging times.* This formula provides recommended potencies of the most important B Vitamins and Vitamin C, and is formulated to supply the body’s daily needs in one complete supplement.
Vitamin B-6 is a cofactor in numerous enzymatic reactions and is required for the metabolism of fats, carbohydrates, and proteins.* It facilitates the conversion of amino acids from one to another as needed, and is necessary for normal synthesis of hemoglobin, as well as for normal function and production of red blood cells.* B-6 plays an important role in regulating homocysteine metabolism in the body.* Homocysteine, a by-product of the methionine cycle, is known to be destructive to bodily tissues, especially vascular structures. B-6 is also critical for the maintenance of a healthy nervous system.*

Vitamin B-12 (Methylcobalamin) is a water soluble vitamin necessary for the maintenance of a healthy nervous system and for the metabolic utilization of fats and proteins. Vitamin B-12 is also essential for the synthesis of DNA during cell division and therefore essential for the synthesis of DNA during cell division and therefore is especially important for rapidly multiplying cells, such as blood cells. Brain B-12 contains only the methylcobalamin form of B12, which is the coenzyme form. Methylcobalamin is considered an enhanced form of B12 and is the same form found in natural food supplies. It is believed to be a much more active and bioavailable form of this vitamin. It is the form that crosses the blood-brain barrier and is active in brain and nerve tissue.
Choline & Inositol are members of the B-vitamin family. Choline is necessary for normal synaptic transmission, brain health, and fatty acid metabolism in the liver.* Inositol is also essential for brain and nervous system health.* Both Choline and Inositol are essential components of all cell membranes.*
